Identification and Energetic Characterization of Hig-Temperature Inorganic Molecules Line of research The goal of this research is to produce and identify new inorganic molecules (e.g., di- and triatomic intermetallic species) in high-temperature vapors and to study the relevant gas-phase equilibria by Knudsen Effusion Mass Spectrometry in order to derive thermochemical values of dissociation/atomization energies. Experiments are coupled with DFT and post-HF calculations to evaluate molecular parameters and bond energies of the investigated species.
