Novel sorbent materials and neoteric solvents for environmental and bioanalytical applications Line of research This research line involves a multidisciplinary team for the development of new solutions in the field of extraction sciences. The characterization of experimental sorbent membranes, such as buckypaper and graphene-chitosan-based, is aimed at developing prototypes for solid-phase extraction on conventional and miniaturized scale. New low-transition temperature mixtures are designed, prepared and characterized to achieve dispersive liquid-liquid micro-extraction of molecules of interest in environmental and bioanalytical applications.
