Progetto HZB-Biofeedstock-AIM-CUTE - Nanostructured mesomaterials from biomasses Line of research This project aims at the development of novel, low-cost and high performance nanostructured materials for sustainable batteries applications in line with the EU 2020 initiative. To achieve this goal the project will synthetize, study and characterize ex-situ, in-situ and operando novel composite carbon-based materials derived from biomasses. The project aims to develop new classes of mesomaterials derived from waste raw materials, with enhanced morphology and tailored metallin/non-metallic doping to boost their performance in rechargeable non-aqueous batteries and microbatteries.
