titolo Line of research Title: Synthesis and Derivatization of Polyfunctional Organic Molecules for the Preparation of New Materials. This research is focused on the synthesis of new polyfunctional molecules to be used as building blocks in the way to new smart materials. The synthetic paths start from low cost natural organic molecules widely available, eventually beaaring well defined stereochemistry, and involve their transformation through sustainable organic reactions into organic products having interesting properties for a "bottom up" approach to new materials.
