Development and validation of analytical protocols for the analysis of complex biological and environmental matrices Line of research My research is mainly concerned with the development of new research methods in environmental, analytical, and bioanalytical fields based on spectroscopic techniques. In particular, I develop innovative approaches for the elemental characterization of environmental and biological complex matrices. I use optimized analytical methods for environmental monitoring (atmospheric particulate matter) and biomonitoring (human biological matrices such as urine, feces, hair, breast milk, and serum; small insects, lichens, and leaves) studies.
